Evgeniy Vasilievich Vladimirov

Background

Evgeniy was born on 03 of April in 1926 in Sobolitsy village, Novorzhevsky Uyezd, Pskov province. Died on 30 of April in 2008 in Voronezh. Member of the Great Patriotic War.

Education

Graduated from the officer courses of the Moscow Military District in 1949.

Career

Served for more than 30 years in the ranks of the Soviet Army after the war. For more than 15 years served in the military commissariats of Novovoronezh and Voronezh, after the disbandment of the Voronezh Military District.

After his retirement in the reserve in 1976, began a search for the perpetuation of the memory of the soldiers who died in the battles for Voronezh in1942 - January 1943 and the organization of the patronage for the care of memorial military burial places.

Member of the City Commission for Historical and Cultural Heritage, member of the military history section of the Voronezh Regional Museum of Local History.

Achievements

• In 2000 he was included in the city Book of good deeds.
