Copenhagen and Berlin. Studied piano-playing, et cetera, with Niels West. Gade and Anton R6e in Copenhagen, and with Doctor Hans von Bulow in Berlin.
Career
Appeared in public in Denmark, Berlin, Leipzig, Munich, Saint St. Petersburg, Moscow, Helsingfors, Christiania, Edinburgh, and in the Crystal Palace Saturday concerts, the Philharmonic Society, the Richter and Henschel orchestral concerts in London. Lived in London, 1864-1872. In Russia, 1872-1875.
In London, 1875 till the present time.
Professor and Examiner Royal College of Music. Honourable R. A. M. Knight of Dannebrog and Dannebrogsmand. Pianist to His (or Her) Majesty Queen Alexandra.
