Fujimoto Kota was born in 1880.

Education

He graduated from Tokyo Commercial University in 1905.

Career

Appointed professor of the university in 1909. Since then until his retirement in 1941, taught at the university on statistics and insurance. He was forerunner of statistical science in Japan.
