Fumiki Kito served as naval engineer and thereafter received degree in engineering (1935) and was appointed professor of Keio University (1945).
Fumiki Kito contributed much in study of applied mathematics and mechanical engineering. Especially noted for his researches on devices for prevention of noises from propellers on ships and oscillation of water-pressure iron pipe of power plant. Works include "Introduction to Engineering Mathematics".
