Hideo Ono was born in 1885.

Education

Hideo Ono graduated from the Literature Department, Tokyo University (1910), was with the Manchoho (newspaper (1911) and then Tokyo Nichinichi Shimbun (newspaper) (1916-22).

Career

Hideo Ono became instructor on German literature at his alma mater (1925). He has been studying journalism and its history for more than 30 years.
