Graduated from Tokyo University (1914).
Career
Lecturer at Meiji-Gakuin College, professor at the 8th Higher School (from 1918), profesor at Women’s Peers' School (from 1919), professor of Osaka Prefectural Women's College and subsequently became its president. Retained same post when that college became the Osaka Women’s University as result of educational system reform. Also served as chairman of Re-commendation Committee of Osaka Municipal Welfare Commission and in several similar posts, rendering great services in field of public welfare work.
