First he studied at Kawabata Art School and then graduated from Tokyo Fine Arts School (1925), later studied under Kigen Nakagawa.
Career
Continued exhibiting works at Nika Art Society's exhibition (from 1940). He was nominated member of Nika Art Society (1933) but withdrew from it with Shintaro Suzuki and others (1955).
