Honma Kiichi

Background

Honma Kiichi was born in 1891.

Career

He was sent by Education Ministry to England, Germany and France to study commercial law (1922). Became professor of Tokyo University of Commerce (1929). Resigned to enter the bar (1936). Appointed professor (1940) and then president of Toa Dobun Shoin College. He became chief secretary of Supreme Court (1947). Appointed to present post as president of Aichi University (1950).
