Fought in Civil War; 1921-1937 deputy manager, then manager, Council of People's Commissar and Labor and Defense Council. From 1937 Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Deputy People's Commissar of Finance. At 18th All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Congress elected member, Soviet Control Commission.
Arrested by State Security organs.
