Career
Ishikawa Kazumasa originally served Ieyasu, but later when Ieyasu sided with Nobuo Oda against Hideyoshi Toyotomi, he sided with the latter (1584), but his new master was not very favorably impressed with him due to his change of fronts. Kazumasa was also ashamed of himself and kept aloof feigning illness. Later was granted a feudal fief in Izumi Province (Osaka Prefecture) and made commander of the army (1586). Appointed Castellan of Fukashi Castle (Matsumoto Castle) with a fief of 10,000 koku.
