Live-stock representative Missouri State Board Agriculture, 1922-1926. Became editor Valley Farmer, Mercedes, Texas, 1927. Later served as managing editor Texas Grower and Valley Farmer.
With Texas Agricultural and Mech. College 1937, professor agricultural history until 1948. First exchange professor appointed to Nicaragua, 1940-1941, under Act for Promotion Inter-American Cultural Relations.
Member American Association University Professors, Alpha Tau Alpha.
