Joseph Ignatievich Huttel was born on July 18, 1883.
He studied at the Prague Conservatory (class of professor V. Novak), Moscow Conservatory (class of professor I.E. Taneev).
He collaborated with Mikhail Mikhailovich Mordkin (author of the ballet "Asia De") and Alexander Yakovlevich Tairov (author of the music for the "Salome" by Oscar Wilde) in Moscow. Conductor of the Voronezh Free Theater where he performed the productions: "Iolanta" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (directed by D.G. Gutman), "Coppelia" by Leo Deliba (baller masters - M.G. Dyskovsky and M.F. Moiseev), episode from the opera "Ruslan and Lyudmila" by Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka (director - D.G.Gutman) and others. In 1912 - 1946 he worked in Egypt.
