Nikolaus Hipp was born on October 22, 1938, in Munich, Bayern, Germany.
Since 1970, Nikolaus Hipp is an independent artist. Since 1989, he worked as a teacher of fine art at the Higher School of Economics in the city of Schwerin. Since 2000, Nikolaus Hipp has been president of the Bavarian Chamber of Commerce. He is also a multiple sponsor of the campaign Art Helps Life to help children with tuberculosis in Europe and Russia. Exhibited in many countries of the world. In 2003, he attended the opening in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy joint exhibition with G. von Habsburg (working with her in a creative community).
