Kaname Yukiyoshi was born in 1903 in Okayama, Japan.
Kaname Yukiyoshi graduated from Teachers' Training Institute (1926). He passed bunken (examination for a secondary-school teachers' license) and taught at Seto Girls' High School and then at several elementary schools in Kobe City.
Kaname Yukiyoshi established and became president of Kobe Shinso Girls' Institute and assumed additional post of lecturer of Mukogawa Women's University (1940). Established and became president of Kobe Women's Junior College (1950).
Held additional posts of chairman of Kobe Branch of Chisai Hoshi (Small Service) Society and vice-president of Kobe-shi Fuzoku Kenkyukai (Kobe City Manners and Customs Research Society).
