Education
Graduated from Tokyo University (1930).
Career
Served in the Institute of Compilation of Historical Materials of Tokyo University. Became an Official Compiler of Historical Materials (1943), and served as Assistant Professor of Tokyo University (1946). Later was appointed as Professor of Tokyo University (1954), and the Head of the Department of Ancient Document in the Institute of Compilation of Historial Materials. Majored in the history of agricultural methods of the Middle Ages.
