Keiji Takana graduated from Tokyo Higher Normal School (1912).
Career
Keiji Takana appointed teacher Tokyo Higher Normal School. He served as professor of the Tokyo Higher Normal School, assistant professor of Tokyo Bunrika Daigaku (Literature and Science University) (1929). Promoted to professor (1937). Retired from the post (1947) and became emeritus professor.
He was professor of Rissho University, councilor of the Japan Geography Society, chairman of the Otsuka Geography Society, chairman of the Japan Geographic Society, etc. Author of "Essence and Principles of Geography", "Territories of Our Country", etc.
