He graduated from Naval Cadet School (1926) and the Senior Class of the Naval Torpedo School (1933).
Career
Kengo Tominaga was a Lieutenant commander (1940) and became staff officer and spokesman of the Information Department of General Headquarters. In 1944, appointed staff officer of Japanese naval forces at Palau base.
Kengo Tominaga was a good writer. He was a chief editor of the Kaijo Jiei Shimbun (The Marine Self-Defense Newspaper). Wrote the books "Announcement of the General Headquarters" and "Record of Testimony - History of the Pacific War," and also "Pictorial History of the Great East Asia War-Naval Department."
