After graduating from Tokyo University in 1915 Kiyoshi Masui continued his studies and in 1916 he obtain a doctor's degree.
Career
After graduation he proceeded to Europe and America for further medical research. Upon return in 1921 Kiyoshi Masui rejoined his alma mater as professor and concomitantly held a post with the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry. He is presently also associated with Livestock Laboratory and is head of Heredity Research Institute.
