Marina Ivanovna Lylova is a librarian, senior librarian of the Scientific Regional Library of the Voronezh State University (1981-1983), laboratory assistant of the Department of Archeology and History of the Ancient World of Voronezh State University (1983-1986), employee of the Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore (1986-1991), director of the "Divnogorie" Natural Museum-Reserve of Architecture and Archaeology (Voronezh region, since 1991).
She participated in archaeological excavations on the territory of Voronezh region - the Mayatsky archaeological complex (Liskinsky district, 1981-1982), the Mosolovsky settlement of the Bronze Age (Anninsky district) and the Zhivotinnoe settlement (Ramonsky district, 1984-1985), and the Vyazovsky burial ground of the early Iron Age in the Tula region (1982-1983).
In 1986-1988 she conducted independent archeological exploration in some areas of the Voronezh region. Since 1986, she has been organizing the "Divnogorie" Museum-Reserve.
The author of the creative project "Soul healing", which won a grant from the President of the Russian Federation (2007). Published on the museum work. She publishes articles on museum work.
