MaryAnn Easley was born on November 8, 1933 in Los Angeles, California, United States, in the family of Wendell C. and Sarah M. Black.

Education

MaryAnn received Bachelor of Arts at University of Redlands, and then she earned Master of Arts at Chapman University.

Career

MaryAnn worked as an elementary school teacher in Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, Camp Pendleton Marine Base, California. She also was a teacher in Alaska and worked as an editor, typesetter, and circulation manager for a regional magazine. In 1976-1982 she fished commercially for salmon along the Pacific Northwest.

• MaryAnn is best known for her book "I Am the Ice Worm", wchich was written in 1996.
