Masazo Kiuchi joined Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Company as an engineer (1918). Rejoined his alma mater as assistant professor (1924), then professor (1928) and was Dean of the university’s Faculty of Physics when he retired on reaching age limit (1952). In between also studied in Europe and America and was conferred a doctorate, Sc.D. (1927).
