Education
Graduated from Moscow University, 1923.
Career
Member of the Research Commission of the Kursk Magnet Anomaly. Worked at Moscow University from 1929 until 1945. From 1955, professor.
At the Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences, 1946-1952. From 1951, at the Institute of Atomic Energy. Leading scientist in the atomic industry.
Lecturer and author of many scientific works. Founded a school of radiophysics and plasma physics. Together with A. Sakharov, signed many petitions protesting against the conviction of writers and artists.
Protested against Stalin’s rehabilitation in the Soviet media during the 1960-1970s.

Religious books are outdated, because laws by nature have to change with the advance of societies and technology.

Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
