In 1969 Mikhail Ivanovich entered special boarding school of physics and mathematics at Moscow State University from which he graduated in 1971. He graduated from the Higher School of the FSB Academy (1976), the law department of the Voronezh State University (1986), and the screenwriting Department of the all-Russian State Institute of cinematography (1996).
Since 1976 Mikhail Ivanovich was an employee of the Institute of Mathematics of the Voronezh State University, since 1979 was an instructor of Kominternovsky regional Committee of All-Union Leninist Communist Union of Youth since 1984 he was an employee of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Voronezh regional Executive Committee, since 1989 the legal counsel of the greenhouse complex, the Voronezh branch "Uralvneshtorgbank" (one of the oldest Russian commercial banks).
Since 1997, Mikhail Ivanovich has been a member of the Voronezh Regional Bar Association, and since 2000, he has been a lecturer at the Voronezh Economic and Legal Institute.
Mikhail Ivanovich has been published since 1992. He published in the magazines "North", "Ural", "Don", "Roman-magazine XXI century", "Our contemporary", "Moscow", "Warrior of Russia", "Young guard" and others.
