Mikhail Nikolaevich Grischenko

Background

Mikhail Nikolaevich Grischenko was born on May 23, 1903.

Education

Had graduated from Pavlovsky Teachers College in 1922 and Voronezh Land Management Institute in 1931.

Career

Grischenko was a specialist in quaternary sediments, Central Black Earth region geology. Moreover, he took part in the research of Kursk Magnetic Anomaly, Kamennaya Steppe and Shipov Forest together with Gennady Basov.

Besides that, in 1949-1952 he headed the Verkhne-Donskoy part of USSR Academy of sciences’ expedition and was the chairman of Voronezh regional nature protection organization in 1959-1973.
