From 1979 to 1983, Nadezhda Pavlovna was a professor of the Department of Scientific Communism of Voronezh State University. From 1994 to 2003, Nadezhda Pavlovna was an assistant professor in the sociology and political science department of Voronezh State University. In 2003, she became an associate professor of the Department of Sociology and Theory of Social Work of the Voronezh Branch of the Russian State Social University.
Nadezhda Pavlovna is the author of more than 120 works, including such books as "The Phenomenon of Political Consciousness: Interpretations, Features, and Transformation Trends in Modern Russian Society" (Voronezh, 2005), "Political Consciousness: Essence, Pluralization, Factor of Reforming Russian Society" (Voronezh, 2008).
Nadezhda Pavlovna Polpaeva is the vice-chairman of the regional interdepartmental commission for the advancement of women. She is a permanent member of local radio programs about the problems of the women's movement.
