Career
Naokata Taira was a general serving the Kebiishi (Police Commander).
He commanded an expeditionary force against Tadatsune Taira (1028). Because he was unable to subdue the rebels he was called back to Kyoto. Naokata's descendants assumed the name of Hojo.
