For some ten years taught at elementary schools in Oita Prefecture and thereafter entered the Mainichi Newspaper. After serving for five years became secretary of Great Japan Motion Picture Education Association, but ultimately entered into his life career as writer (1943). After war founded eTapan Juvenile Story Society and became its chairman. Engages in various activities including one as editor of various forms of scripts for juvenile stories, the purpose of them all being the promotion of children's culture.
