Nikolai Petrovich taught church history, canon law and liturgics in Voronezh Theological Seminary (1861-1866). The author of works on the history of philosophy and pedagogy (work "Review of Philosophical Doctrines" was awarded the Makariev Prize and was approved by the Holy Synod as a textbook for theological seminaries). His works were Published in the Voronezh Diocesan Gazette.
Works: Review of philosophical doctrines (Moscow, 1880, 1881), The teacher of the ancient classical world - the philosopher Socrates (Chernigov, 1884), The teacher of the new Christian world - the Slav Amos Kamensky (Chernigov, 1885).
