Lyudmila Andreevna graduated from the history department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (1976).
In 1979-1984 she was an assistant, senior lecturer of the department of Philosophy and Scientific Communism of the Voronezh Civil Engineering Institute (now Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering). Since 1984, she has been a senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head (since 2009) of the department of humanitarian and socio-economic disciplines of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts (Voronezh State Academy of Arts).
Research interests: modern history and historiography of Germany in modern times, the political history of Russia in the 20th century. She is the author of over 30 works, including books: "Stalinism and War" (Moscow, 1994, 1998), "A.-A. Jomini - the founder of scientific military theory" (Moscow, 1999, 2004).
