After 1917 February Revol deputy, Petrograd Soviet. July—August 1917 harbored Lenin at Razliv Station after his arrest was ordered by the Provisional Government. During 1917 October Revol helped guard Smol’nyy and storm the Winter Palace.
1918 military comissar. 1919 chairman, Executive Committee, Sestroretsk Soviet. 1921 helped crush Kronstadt Mutiny.
September 1921-1923 with Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic trade mission in Established Then admin work.
