Mikhailovskaya Nina Dmitrievna was born on November 21, 1911 in Bolshaya Privalovka, Verkhnekhavsky District, Voronezh Region. She was born in the teacher’s family.
She graduated from the pedagogical technical college (Usman, Central Black Earth Oblast, 1931) and literary and linguistic faculty of the Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute (1938).
She was a teacher in Verkhnyaya Khava district and the village of Verkhnyaya Khava of Central Black Earth Oblast (1931-1934). In 1939-1942 and 1943-1976, she worked at the Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute: she headed student pedagogical practice, gave lecture courses on the history of Russian literature of the 19th century and on the methodology of teaching literature in school.
She was the author of scientific works dedicated to Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, Alexey Vasilyevich Koltsov, Ivan Savvich Nikitin, Vladimir Galaktionovich Korolenko, Evgeny Lvovich Markov and other writers. Mikhailovskaya repeatedly made presentations at the local history readings in the Voronezh Regional Universal Scientific Library named after I.S. Nikitin.
Mikhailovskaya was a member of the Local Historians’ Public Council of Voronezh Historical and Cultural Community.
