信勝 武田
Nobukatsu Takeda was born in 1567 in Japan. He was a son of Katsuyori. His mother was the niece of Nobunaga Oda.
In 1582 when Oda attacked his stronghold, his father Katsuyori wanted to retreat to Shimpu from where a counterattack could be launched against the enemy but young Nobukatsu, then only 15 years of age, was against this strategy, and tried to persuade his father to stay behind and fight to the last man so as not to stain the honor of their family. The father had his own way, and they were cut to bits and killed in a fierce battle at Temmokuzan (Yamanashi Prefecture).
