Okada Akio

Background

Okada Akio was born in 1908.

Career

After graduating from Tokyo University remained and became assistant professor, besides being chief of its Historic Research Institute (since 1954). He was also instructor at Meiji and Waseda universities. Among his works are "Early European Religious Customs" and "Miura Anjin" (Japanese name of William Adams).
