Omran Kouba obtained his "Licence" and "Maîtrise" from the University of Paris Saclay (previously, Paris Sud-Orsay), and was ranked second in the "Agrégation de Mathématiques" in 1985. He obtained his PhD. from the Sorbonne University (previously University Pierre et Marie Curie) in 1990.
