Ota Sukekiyo

Background

Ota Sukekiyo was born in 1411. He was the son of Sukefusa.

Career

Ota was secretary to the Uesugi family at Ogigayatsu. He became a priest in 1457 and called himself Doshin. The same year, Ota built Wakatsuki Castle in Kawagoe at the order of Tomomochi Uesugi.
