Pavel Pavlovich Poluboyarov was born on June 16, 1901, in Tula, Russian Federation.
In 1919, Pavel Pavlovich Poluboyarov started to serve in the Red Army. In 1926, he graduated from the school of armored cars. In 1938, he graduated from the Military Academy of Mechanization and Motorization of the Workers and Peasants Red Army.
Pavel Pavlovich Poluboyarov participated in the Civil War, military engagements with Japanese troops on the river Khalkhyn Gol (1939) and World War II. In 1940, he became deputy commander-in-chief of the 17th army and the head of the armored division of the Leningrad and Baltic special military district. Pavel Pavlovich was a commander of the 17th tank corps, later the 4th guard's tank corps (the first – Ukrainian Front). In 1943, at the head of his corps, he played an active role in the Voronezh battle and the battles for the village and the railway station Kantemirovka, the Stalingrad and Kursk battles. He distinguished himself in the Berlin and Prague operations and while the conquesting of Dresden (Germany). From 1954 to 1969, he was an office commander of the tank forces of the Soviet Army. He also served in the group of inspector generals of the USSR Ministry of Defense.
From 1955 to 1971 he was a member of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR (4-7 convocations) and a member of the Communist Party of Belarus.
