Career
Her younger brother Theo – Q.Narayan, is a drummer in various styles and drums for Classical Orchestra, Jazz and also Indian drums like tablas and mridangam with the Mridangam Maestro Thiruvarur Bakthavathsalam. On her very first years she expressed the desire of dancing, and never lost this passion for lieutenant Laxmi and her family came in India for the first time when she was only five years old and that trip influenced all her life…
Paris Laxmi has been trained in various dance styles from Europe: classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, Flamenco and Hip-hop from the age of five.
She started her Bharata Natyam studies at nine under the teaching of the dancer Armelle Choquard ( disciple of VS Muthuswami Pillai and Doctor Sucheta Chapekar ) and then from the age of eleven with the dancer and choreographer Dominique Delorme ( disciple of VS Muthuswami Pillai and Doctor Padma Subrahmanyam ).
She also went in India many times to learn from Doctor Sucheta Chapekar in Pune and in Padma Subrahmanyam’s Nrithyodaya school in Chennai. Laxmi performed one song “Oh January” in the Malayalam movie “Big B” directed by Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty, Manoj K.Jayan, Bala.
Laxmi performed in various stages in France for festivals and private events. She also performed in India for many events, Natyanjali Festival 2010 in Chidambaram and Thiruvayaru Tamil Nadu, in the Mahadeva Temple of Vaikom, Udayanapuram Temple, Kidangoor Temple, Guruvayoor Temple, Kadhuturuthy Temple, Kerala…She performed a trio for the channel and news paper Manorama, for the Karshagasree with the great artists: Chenda player Mattannur Sankarankutty Marar and Tavil player Karunamoorthy in February 2011
She appeared in a cameo role in Anjali Menon"s Bangalore Days.
She also appeared in a malayalam movie titled salt mango tree in 2015.
