Polina Pavlovna Tkachova is a Belarusian researcher, science educator, and academic whose work has addressed nonlinear signal processing, speech recognition, dynamical systems, and the mathematical analysis of literary texts. She has also published studies of Vladimir Vysotsky’s poetry and worked in higher education and cultural research.
Background
Polina Pavlovna Tkachova was born on May 27, 1968. She is Belarusian and has maintained professional connections with academic and research institutions in Belarus and Russia. Her documented interests include computers, piano, drawing, and embroidery.
Education
Tkachova studied at Belarusian State University, where she completed higher education between 1985 and 1990. She subsequently pursued doctoral-level study at the same university, receiving a Doctor of Philosophy qualification in 1994. From 2009 to 2011 she was recorded as a Doctor of Science student at Belarusian State University, extending her academic development into advanced research.
Career
Tkachova began her academic career at Belarusian State University as a lecturer in 1994. She became a senior lecturer in 1995 and served concurrently as a lecturer at the Lyceum of Belarusian State University from 1995 to 1997. In 2001 she advanced to the position of docent at Belarusian State University. Her early research included nonlinear signal decomposition, speech recognition, chaotic dynamics, hydrodynamic structures, and models of protoplanetary rotation, carried out in collaboration with researchers associated with the Institute of Engineering Cybernetics and the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Later publications identify her as a docent of RAU and a senior research worker at the State Cultural Center and Museum of V. S. Vysotsky “Vysotsky’s House on Taganka” in Moscow. In this later period, her work expanded toward system-theoretical and literary analysis of Vladimir Vysotsky’s poetry, including the study of poetic structure, self-organization, and imagery.
