In 1913 Rokuzo graduated from Kyoto University.
Career
After graduation Rokuzo was appointed professor of Keio University. Later he was appointed President of Disease Prevention on Laboratory (1924) and since 1955 has been President of the National Leper Institute. He was a noted specialist of bacteriology and has written several books on the subject.
