Roman Timofeevich graduated from the mechanical department of the Voronezh Institute of Chemical Technology (1935), the Moscow Academy of Railway Transport with a degree in mechanical engineering (1949).
Career
Since 1925, Roman Timofeevich worked as a state farm worker, assistant of locksmith, power plant driver, locksmith at the enterprises of the Kursk province. Since 1936, as an inspector, head of the planning and production bureau of the Rossoshansky branch of the South-Eastern Railway Rossosh station. Since 1938, the senior engineer of the analysis group, the head of the reporting and information department, then the head of the control and inspection group of the Management Office of the South-Eastern Railway. Since 1944, deputy head of the transport department, head of the department of mechanical engineering and energy production, head of the industrial and transport department of the Voronezh Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Since 1949 - chief engineer, deputy head of the South-Eastern Railway. Since 1950, head of the department, secretary (since 1959) of the Voronezh Regional Committee of the CPSU. Since 1963, 1st Secretary of the Voronezh Industrial Regional Committee of the CPSU. In 1964-1975, the 2nd Secretary of the Voronezh Regional Committee of the CPSU. Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR on behalf of the Voronezh Region (since 1963).
