(This book is devoted to new classes of parabolic differen...)
This book is devoted to new classes of parabolic differential and pseudo-differential equations extensively studied in the last decades, such as parabolic systems of a quasi-homogeneous structure, degenerate equations of the Kolmogorov type, pseudo-differential parabolic equations, and fractional diffusion equations. It will appeal to mathematicians interested in new classes of partial differential equations, and physicists specializing in diffusion processes.

Samuil Davidovich graduated from the physico-mathematical department of Chernivtsi National University (1948).
In 1948-1950, Samuil Davidovich was also an assistant at the Department of Differential equations. In 1950-1968 was a head lecturer, docent, professor, head (1963-1968) of the department of higher mathematics of the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute (now Voronezh State Technical University).
At the same time, he was a professor at the department of partial differential equations and probability theory at Voronezh State University in 1963-1968. In 1968-1993 he was a head of the department of higher mathematics of the Kiev Higher Military Radio-Technical Engineering School (now Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies). Since 1993, he had been a professor at the International Solomon University. In parallel, he was a leading researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences.
