Teacher of engineering in Voronezh city mechanical and technical school. Councilor of the City Duma (1904-1908). Since 1934 he was a teacher at the Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute. He was unjustifiably repressed (1941, in the case of Romanovsky), sentenced to 10 years of forced labor camps, died in the camp. He took an active part in the public life of Voronezh, was the secretary of the Society of People's Universities, a member of the Committee of the Public Library Department, was engaged in the organization and reading of lectures in the infirmaries during World War I, and was one of the authors of the literary almanac "Origins" (Voronezh, 1918).
