Associate professor of the Bryansk Forestry Engineering Institute (1931-1932), associate professor, professor of the Voronezh Agricultural Institute (1933-1942). In 1942-1972, he was a professor, head of the Department of Physics and Meteorology (Meteorology and Climatology) of the Voronezh Forestry Institute (Voronezh Forestry Engineering Institute). He is the author of more than 80 works, including those translated into Polish, Chinese, Korean, Romanian, Bulgarian, Lithuanian.
