Sergey Irineevich graduated from Voronezh Theological Seminary in 1862, and from Moscow Theological Academy in 1866.
Sergey Irineevich was a teacher of philosophy in Kharkiv Theological Seminary (1866-1870), Saint Petersburg Theological Seminary (1870-1872). Also worked as member-auditor of the training Committee of the Holy Synod since 1872. Since 1896 was an editor of the journal "Public education" that was publishing by the Holy Synod. Sergey Irineevich - the author of more than 50 spiritually-pelagic books.
