Sergey Ivanovich graduated from the Voronezh cinema college (1937).
Sergey Ivanovich worked as a projectionist and graphic designer in the Voronezh film distribution (1937-1939). He was a member of the Great Patriotic War.
In 1946-1947 he painted the interiors of a church in the city of Novy Oskol, Belgorod Region, and performed a series of icons on copper for the Voronezh Nikolskaya Church. Since 1948, more than 20 years he attended the art studio of the Voronezh Advertising Factory and the Union of Artists studio. Artist of urban design (1950-1978). The participant of city and regional thematic exhibitions since 1953.
Among his works: "Portrait of a street child" (1957), "Spring on the Voronezh River" (1963), "Voronezh Hills. View from the left bank" (1980) and many others. Solo exhibitions of Malikov's works took place in the Spartak cinema (1967), the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists (2000, 2003).
