Sergey Vasilevich graduated from the journalism department of the philological faculty of the Voronezh State University (1978).

Career

Sergey Vasilevich worked as a photojournalist for a local district newspaper (Podgorensky village, Voronezh Region, 1970-1972). A journalist of the newspaper "Forward" (Voronezh, since 1972). Member of the Voronezh Photo Club "Express".

The participant of more than 80 regional, All-Russian, All-Union, international (England, German Democratic Republic, Poland, Czechoslovakia, France and other countries) photo exhibitions. Winner of the Bulgarian photojournalists Award (Gabrovo, 1987). Prizewinner of the Slide-show festival (Sverdlovsk, 1988).

Published in "Soviet Union", "Soviet Woman", "Spark" journals and other publications. One of the compilers, designer of photo albums "Legends of Voronezh" (Voronezh, 1999), "... I am with these people" (Kalach, 1987). Author of several booklets on the enterprises of the South-Eastern Railway.
