In 1976 graduated from the theater department of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts and was immediately accepted into the Voronezh Drama Theater.
At the beginning of his career, he played social heroes: Nikita ("Cruel Intentions" by Alexei Arbuzov), King ("Look, who came!" Vladimir Arro).
The performer of characteristic roles in the productions of Russian dramatic art: Paratov and Golden Eagles ("Dowry" and "Wolves and Sheep" Alexander Ostrovsky), Nikolai Triletsky ("Fatherless" Anton Chekhov).
Significant roles in the plays of foreign authors: Count Almaviva ("The Marriage of Figaro" by Pierre Beaumarchais), Armand ("Colomba" by Jean Anouille). Deputy of the Voronezh City Duma of the third convocation (2010).
