Shigeo Okamoto was born in 1897.

Career

After graduating from Tokyo University (1922) entered the education field and was in turn professor at Kochi Higher School, president of Kochi Women's College and became professor at Kobe University. Studied religious psychology briefly in Germany. Has been active in research in female psychology.

Achievements

• His practical instruction to the younger generation and his thoughtful philosophy of life has had great influence upon the minds of young people.
