Career
Soichi Yanagi became instructor of the Medical Department of Keio University in 1920 and received a doctorate in 1921. In 1921 became a professor of Hokkaido University. Retired with honor of emeritus professor of Hokkaido University and assumed post of director of the National Sagamihara Hospital in 1951.
