Takehiko Ishikawa served as instructor of Tokyo Agricultural College, professor of Chiba Higher Horticultural School and president of Yamagata Agricultural College and thereafter became dean of Agricultural Department of Yamagata University. His works include "Monograph on Agriculture in The Old Testament” and "Study of Selection of Lands for Fruit-Culture."
